FAMILY PROJECT

We make honest wines that respect the territory

Surrounded by vineyards, overlooking the sea, next to the village of Alella and embraced by the Serralada Litoral Natural Park, you will find the winery Bouquet d’Alella.

We are the 14th generation of the Boquet family, who have maintained the estate for 5 centuries, and our challenge is to continue making it sustainable by making organic wines, with our own vineyard and traditional varieties and offering wine tourism experiences 15 kilometers from Barcelona.

Maresme

Our estate

Our heritage; 2 country houses of high historical and landscape value located in the Maresme, and 60 hectares of sustainable cultivation: forest, crop and vineyard.

The Vineyards

The property has 14 hectares of vineyards planted for over 40 years and now cultivated with ecological techniques in the typical terrain of the DO Alella, the sauló, and distributed in staggered plots located in the municipalities of Alella, Teià, Cabrils and Vilassar de Dalt (included in DO Alella).

Half of the vineyards are located near the sea, open to the influence of the sun and the Mediterranean breeze and the rest are in the highest part of the Serrala Litoral Park where temperatures are colder and with more thermal contrast day / night.

The most planted varieties are the local ones: Pansa Blanca, Grenache, Grenache Blanc, Monastrell and Syrah.

The Country houses

The property has two country houses of high historical and architectural value:

Can Boquet d’Alella: Located next to the town of Alella and surrounded by vineyards. It is a Gothic style house, from the 15th century.

Can Boquet de Vilassar de Dalt: Located in the middle of the Serralada Litoral Natural Park and next to Vilassar de Dalt. It is a Romanesque construction, from the 10th century, where the hermitage of Sant Salvador stands out, with an attached pre-Romanesque chapel.
